On-site Testing Service
Damos Aviation Services will bring any
paper-and-pencil pilot screening or selection test to your facilities or to a job fair
to assess your applicants. We also own portable computer-based pilot
screening and selection
tests that assess timesharing and eye-hand
co-ordination. Such tests are often too expensive for a single air carrier to
purchase. Our personnel will administer any of these tests for a fixed fee and
provide your company the results immediately.

PASS (Pilot Assessment and Selection System)
PASS is an integrated system that allows your company to assess the aviation
skills of pilot applicants. This system is the result of efforts by three
companies--Frasca International, Aero Innovation Inc., and Damos Aviation
Services, Inc.--to develop a screening and selection system that can identify the best applicants in
a professionally sound manner and still be easy to implement and use. It may be
used in conjunction with your current hiring system or by itself.
PASS consists of three components. The first component is a computerized scoring
module that resides in a Frasca simulator. This module assesses the flying
skills of an applicant. Two modules are currently available. One, the NIFA
module is appropriate for ab initio or low-time pilots and measures VFR skills.
The second, the VFS module, is appropriate for instrument-rated pilots. Your
company may use any of the scenarios in Frasca's scenario library to test the
applicant's flying skills, or Frasca International can develop a new scenario to fit your
needs.
The second component is a situational assessment test, the
WOMBAT. The WOMBAT
was first used for pilot screening and selection in 1990 and has been used in over 20
countries and translated into 7 languages. This test is appropriate for all
levels of pilots from ab initio to very experienced.
The third component consists of professional services provided by Damos Aviation
Services, Inc. We work with your company to integrate PASS into
your existing pilot hiring system. PASS has been designed to be
flexible, so your company will receive as much or as little professional support as it needs.

Fax-Back Scoring Service
Airlines that do not wish to spend the time scoring the Tabular Speed
Test may choose to use Damos Aviation Services' Fax-Back Scoring
Service. With this service, the applicant's test is faxed to our offices where it is
scored quickly. The air carrier then is contacted either by fax, email, or telephone
with the results.
